“Definitely our best stay in NZ! The stunning nature, a breathtaking view right in front of the guesthouse and the loveliest hosts you can find on earth. Karen, her husband Dave and her sister Sharon made us feel like home and done everything to make our stay a great and unique experience. They gave us as much privacy as we needed and were very helpful with all our requests. They helped us to plan our trip through Coromandel and told us where to find the best beaches, restaurants and walks. We’ve also been on an unforgettable fishing trip with Dave and enjoyed a delicious red snapper for dinner after that. Dave also took us for a short bush walk to one of the biggest Kauri trees in NZ. The breakfast was a real feast! Karen surprised us with a fresh selfmade bread and different yummy things for breakfast every day. We were so lucky to find this place and to meet these wonderful people. We’ll definitely be back soon! Thank you so much, Karen, Sharon and Dave.”

“Notre séjour chez Karen et Dave était parfait. La maison donne directement sur la plage, tout est très propre, la chambre est grande, la literie est confortable, bien équipé. Des kayak sont à disposition gratuitement. Nous sommes même allé en mer pêcher avec Dave et nous avons dinner le snapper ! C’était excellent !! “It was the first B&B I’ve every stayed at, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, Karen is a great host, very chilled and relaxed, the place is perfectly clean, and very modern.
The most beautiful sunsets to be seen, on the deck is lovely having dinner or what ever you choose,( we played games and drank hehe)..

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kereta, especially enjoyed having nature literally at the back door!  Dotterels, Oyster Catchers – both nesting within eyesight of the house.  The room was large and comfortable, Karen and Dave are welcoming hosts and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is great.
